You can’t simply find this church just by passing along the highway, you need to do a little research to find this beautiful and peaceful place. I tried to visit it last 2013 but we got lost along the way and had gone too far to go back and just went home. I got to finally visit the place last 2014. Lucky, me? It took me a year though.
For those who wanted to visit this place in Nasugbu, Batangas from Manila, you can use these 3 possible ways to Caleruega Church either via Curry Ave/R-3, via R-3 or via Emilio Aguinaldo Hwy/R-2. It’s also near Tagaytay.
Entrance Fee: P30 per head
Once you find it and see the place, it’s hard to leave. I bet it will be worth it to spend a night to reflect and star-gaze, too.
And here are my photos at Caleruega.

Places to explore inside Caleruega.
Caleruega is also a place for retreats.
You may contact them through this number for details (043) 706 0348.
Their office and rooms for retreats.
The location is almost at the top where you have a great view. They also have a hanging bridge.
The stairs from the retreat house to the church. It was a long walk.
Check out my Kalanggaman Island trip.
There’s also a forest if you want to be alone and be closer to nature and God.
I was thankful to visit the place. And next time I’ll bring my family and friends along.
Hope to see you and I bet you’ll enjoy your visit!
